EUROPEAN WIDEST EVENT

The aim of this project is to allow all children 5-18 years old, specifically girls, to enjoy their Right to play and this aim will be achieved following a well-defined strategy in the European widest Event with 30 Program Countries. Connection of each WP (project results) to each S.M.A.R.T. Objective (The specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, time bound objectives) within the 18 months of the approved program:<br>

 O1 (Objective 1 in connection with WP1 Project Management, Preparation and Implementation):

✓ To produce and donate, 1.000 mini blind balls for children. GRiiS designed and patented the only mini blind football that exists around the world and through the international campaign “A ball for all”, will be distributed for free to children in need and their schools and inclusive sport clubs in order for children and youngsters to enjoy their Right to play. (O1A connected with D1.1)

✓ To produce the EWE kit that will include a usb with a QR code for green approach and a printed brochure with the exercises in QR code, as well, the youth-book, in print but also available as interactive e-book. (O1B connected with D1.2)

✓ To have a successful mobility part of the associated partners with up to 3 members’ unified delegation each for five days 29/4 – 3/5 of Month 6 (every program country with 2 mixed gender participants and 1 extra assistant in case of a participant with disability) with the use of an inclusive gamification (O1C connected with D1.3)

✓ To recruit (following certain criteria) 100 young volunteers, for the needs of the EWE. (O1D connected with D1.4)

✓ To launch an educational online accessible course in the Moodle-based online learning platform, in Greek and in English for e-learning and registration of the 1.000 participants in the NPE EWE. To train, in terms of knowledge, skills & attitude for becoming competent, at least 160 teachers, mentors, young volunteers, professors & students of Physical Education and parents, among others, through these new educational tools who will in turn act as multipliers at local & international level. O2 (Objective 2 in connection with WP2 Impact, Dissemination, Research of final evaluation results)

✓ To update the mapping of the schools and inclusive sport clubs where children with VI attend together with sighted ones, aiming at least at 160 schools and inclusive sport clubs. To allow the 1.000 participants in the European Wide Event to embrace empathy by putting themselves in the sport shoes of children with VI, look through the diversity glasses. (O2A connected with D2.1)

✓ To launch “A ball for all” initiative for schools aiming for Sport for All awareness with the use of innovative dissemination kit. (O2B connected with D2.2).

✓ To recruit (following criteria) 10 mentors for the needs of the project. (O2C connected with D2.3).

✓ To train the parents of the unified team members. (O2D connected with D2.4).

✓ To identify 1 good practice from each associated country (30 from 30 Program Countries) on the development of inclusive sport activities. Good practices will be identified from cases where positive attitudes have been achieved, especially those referred to the cooperative learning and inclusion of children with VI, no matter their religious/ nationality/ gender/ refugee status etc. To promote the project’s deliverables to the 100 participants of the hybrid Multiplier event on 24/4 – M18.
